Sales Representative

Golden Yolk Eggs, a leading egg production company located in the Western Cape, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales representative in the Free State region
. The company is seeking a reliable, energetic individual who enjoys a challenge and has a passion for working with people.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets while adhering to the company’s sales budget and forecast
• Retain and grow existing client base and obtain new clients
• Negotiate prices with existing and new clients
• Maintain strong relationships with clients
• Visit clients daily to ensure sufficient stock on hand
• Accurate recordkeeping of clients visited and sales made
• Development and implementation of regional sales strategies
• Provide insight on regional market trends
• Pro-active identification of new clients / markets / industries
• Attend to client complaints

Requirements
:

• Matric (and qualification in relevant field will be advantageous)
• At least 5 years’ proven sales experience in the FMCG industry
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of emotional intelligence with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Language proficiency (Afrikaans & English)
• Proficient in sales reporting, administration and relevant software tools
• Excellent computer skills
• Team player who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the company exceeds
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel
• No criminal record

A market-related remuneration package, in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
