Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client, an innovative tech startup based in Bloemfontein , is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join their agile development team. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code, producing the visual elements of the application that users interact with. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and strong collaboration skills.

You will work closely with backend developers and designers to build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications, contributing directly to the product's success and user satisfaction.

• Develop new user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate their vision into functional and interactive web interfaces.
• Work with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with client-side elements.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and address any cross-browser compatibility issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
