Fleet Manager

Introduction

Empire Bricks is looking for an experienced and organised Fleet Manager to join our team in Bloemfontein.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fleet-related activities, ensuring that vehicles are managed efficiently, safely and effectively. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Manage and oversee the company's vehicle fleet and related activities.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained, serviced and kept in good working condition.
• Coordinate fleet operations and monitor vehicle usage.
• Ensure compliance with relevant fleet, safety and operational requirements.
• Assist with planning and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor fleet-related costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation.
• Work closely with drivers, management and relevant service providers.
• Handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in working out load weights and join invoices to fit correctly on loads.

• Previous fleet management experience is essential.
• Relevant field expertise and practical fleet knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
