About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and organized Transportation Planner to join their team in Bloemfontein . This hybrid role is responsible for developing efficient and cost-effective transportation plans, ensuring the timely movement of goods while optimizing fleet utilization. You will collaborate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to manage complex logistics networks and adapt to changing operational demands. • Develop optimal transportation routes and schedules for the fleet, considering delivery windows and driver hours.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with dispatch teams to manage day-to-day operational changes and exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external carriers.

• Proven experience in transportation planning , logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of route optimization principles and tools.
