About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable Intercity Delivery Professional to manage the transportation of goods between major cities, operating from Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods across provincial lines and ensuring client satisfaction through prompt and secure deliveries. The successful candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent route planning capabilities, and a dedication to upholding safety standards on the road.

You will play an integral part in the company's logistics network, ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and professionally.

• Operate commercial vehicles for intercity deliveries according to an established schedule.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of goods to prevent damage.
• Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to fuel efficiency guidelines.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during transit.

• Valid Code 10 (C1) or higher driver's license with a valid PrDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in intercity transport.
• Good knowledge of routes connecting Bloemfontein with other major South African cities.
• Clean driving record and a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively over extended periods.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with dispatch and clients.
