Delivery Operations Supervisor

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Operations Supervisor to lead their delivery team in Bloemfontein . This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the delivery fleet, ensuring efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction across the Free State province. You will be responsible for supervising drivers, optimizing delivery routes, and implementing operational improvements to enhance service delivery. • Supervise and manage a team of delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules and company policies.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times and costs.
• Monitor driver performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and training.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure all vehicles are maintained in safe working condition.
• Respond promptly to any delivery issues or customer complaints, resolving them effectively.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics or Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a delivery or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of drivers.
• Strong knowledge of delivery route planning and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
