About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead their warehouse and distribution team in Bloemfontein . This role requires a strong leader who can manage daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure the efficient flow of goods through the facility. You will be responsible for maintaining productivity, enforcing safety standards, and optimizing processes to meet operational targets, playing a vital role in the logistical network of the Free State province.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures within the warehouse.
• Monitor workflow and productivity levels, implementing measures to improve efficiency and meet targets.
• Train and mentor warehouse team members, providing guidance and support to foster a high-performing team.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular checks and by implementing effective control measures.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
