Inventory Clerk

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records for their retail operations in Bloemfontein . This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and profitability by controlling stock movement and preventing discrepancies. You will be responsible for receiving, documenting, and organizing incoming inventory, as well as tracking outgoing stock. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing warehouse and stockroom operations in Bloemfontein .

• Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Accurately record all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments, in the inventory management system.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of records.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with incoming or outgoing stock.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom or warehouse to ensure efficient storage and accessibility of goods.
• Assist in managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and coordinate with purchasing.

• Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
