Operations Lead - Warehouse

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Lead for their warehouse facility in Bloemfontein . This role is responsible for directing and coordinating all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, maintain safety standards, and lead a team to achieve departmental goals. • Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, and order fulfillment processes.
• Coordinate with transportation providers and other departments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and reduce operational costs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Operations Management or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing warehouse teams and operations in Bloemfontein .
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
