The RoleDetail‑oriented and organized dispatcher to join our team. Responsible for dispatching service technicians daily to meet customer service needs. Requires strong understanding of the geographical area, great communication, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail. Opportunity for long‑term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle an extremely high volume of service calls
- Negotiating priority of service call
- Create detailed project plans with all tasks, dependencies, and timelines identified, and keep plans continuously updated
- Ensure scope, schedule, and budget data are communicated to stakeholders as they may evolve throughout a project
- Above average ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Work well under pressure and attention to detail is an absolute must
- Attention to data entry, updating information in a timely manner
- Continuous communication with service technicians and providing optimal routing
- Technical support; providing directions, changes in scheduling, etc.
- Notify customers of delay in delivery schedule
- Track that service technicians comply with customer requirements
- Assist in closing service calls and invoicing
- Collect and review service technician’s paperwork and notes for completeness
- General office duties (faxing, scanning, typing, filing, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience dispatching field service techs
- Strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to accurately and quickly develop creative solutions to problems
- Self‑starter with multi‑tasking ability and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience using internet maps and dispatch software
- Ability to meet flexible schedule demands, including periodic rotating weekends if needed
