Lead Financial Planner (CFP)
$110K–$125K base + bonus |
Bloomfield, CT |
Full-Time

We are partnering with an established wealth management firm that is hiring a polished CFP to take over an existing book of about 100 high‑value clients and provide comprehensive, high‑touch financial planning tailored to each client’s long‑term objectives.

What You’ll Do (90% Planning & Advisory)
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial plans across retirement, investment, tax, estate, and insurance strategies.
  • Provide ongoing advisory guidance through regular reviews and plan updates.
  • Build deep, trust‑based relationships with HNW clients.
  • Conduct detailed financial assessments and plan adjustments as client circumstances evolve.
  • Educate clients on financial products, investment principles, and planning concepts.
  • Collaborate with firm partners, CPAs, attorneys, and other experts for holistic solutions.
  • Stay current on market trends, tax law changes, and regulatory updates.
Administrative Responsibilities (10%)
  • Prepare planning documents, reports, and meeting packets.
  • Maintain accurate client data in CRM.
  • Assist with scheduling and general client coordination.
What We’re Looking For
  • CFP certification (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • High integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
  • A polished, confident professional presence capable of earning trust immediately.
