- Elevate patient care:
Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans. - Master ophthalmic testing:
Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more. - Perform advanced diagnostics:
Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography. - Assist in surgical procedures:
Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking. - Streamline patient flow:
Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff. - Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)

Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.

- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient and high‑quality performance of the medical practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Proficiency in data entry and typing.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
Hours: Full time & part time opportunities 24 to 40 hours per week. (part time is under 29.00 hours per week)
Travel: To additional local practices REQUIRED
