- Master ophthalmic testing: conduct visual acuity, pupillary responses, and other preliminary examinations.
- Perform advanced diagnostics: administer OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Assist in surgical procedures: support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and corneal cross‑linking.
- Streamline patient flow: manage clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Administer eye drops (Certification Required).
- Contribute to clinic efficiency: perform clinical and administrative tasks to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks, and any other duties that support high‑quality practice performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Proficiency in data entry and typing.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
Hours: up to 29 hours per week – Part Time
