Our client is currently seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate (Assets) to join their 100% onsite team in Bloomfield, CT and provide end‑user support.
Duties And Responsibilities- Support the collection of all delivered and returned IT equipment.
- Organize and unbox all delivered and returned IT equipment.
- Clean and organize all refurbished devices prior to being repurposed.
- Sort all electronic waste in accordance with client policies and practices.
- Support the closure of Service Request Management tickets related to returned and delivered IT equipment.
- Use analytical and critical thinking skills to investigate aging tickets.
- Support onsite activities to organize and identify device life cycle to ensure proper processing.
- Support the activities to update our computer hardware asset inventory systems, notifying the computer hardware asset management team of device whereabouts within our stockroom and when in transit for end‑of‑life equipment.
- Support routine inventory audits and inventory cycle counts.
- Partner with cross‑functional support teams to support onsite asset management activities.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, regularly emptying wastebaskets that accrue from returned packaging materials.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
- Experience with manually operated forklifts.
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on your feet (stand for 75% of the day).
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach while performing tasks onsite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Software or IT Ticketing System(s) a plus.
- High School/GED required (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
The rate for this position is between $16.50 - $24.20 per hour
. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
