Maintenance Supervisor – Niagara Bottling, LLC
BLOOMFIELD, CT

Essential Functions
  • Oversee the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment.
    • Ensure that the production equipment, machinery, and instruments function reliably and safely.
    • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of maintenance workers to keep facilities in good working order.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance department, reviewing and approving preventative maintenance documents, scheduling and managing preventative maintenance activities.
  • Build and maintain a worldclass mechanical and preventive maintenance team that keeps production equipment in excellent condition and maintains proper parts inventory.
  • Oversee outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Hire, train, coach, and review performance of employees; work with HR on discipline, terminations, and recruitment.
  • Oversee safety team activities; monitor and enforce safety requirements.
  • Build a positive work environment and develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Suggest process improvements and work with shop, department, or crew to increase efficiency and resolve work problems.
  • Maintain accurate time, maintenance, and parts records and develop capital equipment justifications to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
  • Establish a clean, organized work environment; ensure regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 4 years of experience in this position.
    • 4 years of managing people/projects.
    • Required to lift items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 6 years of experience in this position.
    • 6 years of managing people/projects.
  • Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

    Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Typical Compensation Range
  • Pay Rate Type:
    Salary
  • $96,096.13 – $ per year
  • Bonus Target: up to $7,250.00 annually
