What You Will Do
  • Lead, manage and develop the Sanitation and Pest Control programs/systems/procedures/databases for the facility.
  • Standardize and continually improve sanitation, pest control, and related systems support for the facility.
  • Manage a set of matrix relationships within facility Quality, Production and Supply Chain, and influence senior management on alignment of strategies, annual objectives, and project plans.
  • Supervise 11-15 skilled hourly associates, crewed 24/7, in partnership with the operations team to provide sanitation services within a ready-to-eat snack food bakery.
  • Develop, implement and continually improve a documented/standardized/comprehensive sanitation and pest control program, including an integrated Pest Control Program.
  • Select, develop and supervise a crew of 11-15 hourly associates, schedule 24/7 coverage, and collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and Sanitation to develop functional sanitation objectives and plant metrics.
  • Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams to communicate and ensure compliance with Sanitation policy, expectations and requirements. Prepare and manage the annual Sanitation Budget (direct and indirect labor). Order equipment and chemicals via the Oracle platform with cost control in mind.
  • Lead plant inspections and audits to verify compliance with Campbell’s Snacks, FDA and National Sanitation Foundation requirements.
  • Develop Sanitation and Pest Control strategies tailored to a ready-to-eat snack food environment in a warm climate with high infestation exposure.
  • Standardize the Master Sanitation Schedule and develop Insect, Rodent, and Bird Control Plans.
  • Troubleshoot Quality, Sanitation and Pest Control issues.
  • Provide Best Practice framework for all Sanitation, Pest Control, Regulatory and Quality/Food Safety programs.
Who You Will Work With

What You Bring To The Table
  • Must Have – High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing, sanitation, production and management
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sanitation and Pest Control programs
  • Expert knowledge of Master Sanitation practices
  • Strong people supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (FDA)
  • Experience evaluating, developing, standardizing, and implementing Master Sanitation schedules and Pest Control programs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interface with all department management and Corporate Quality Assurance personnel
  • Proficiency with Oracle, budget spreadsheets and Microsoft systems
  • College-level education in bakery or food science is a plus
  • Flexibility to supervise a 24/7 Sanitation Department of 11-15 associates
  • Working knowledge of personnel and food safety requirements
Compensation And Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $83,000-$119,400. Individual base pay depends on location, experience, job-related skills, and education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. Benefits include health, dental, 401k and wellness programs beginning on day one.
