Location:

Remote organization – candidates must be based in Asia. This role can start part‑time but is intended as a full‑time position.

• Provide campaign strategy and implementation support to partner groups, with senior SMT team guidance.
• Build and maintain relationships with organizing networks.
• Develop new online training to meet movement needs across Asia.
• Recruit and shape an instructor team of practitioners from across the continent and support outreach for the training.
• Stay informed about emerging tech and digital developments in Asia, test tools, and advise groups on appropriate solutions.

• Fluent in English (non‑negotiable) and ideally fluent in a regional language.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant campaign experience, including digital campaigning responsibility.
• Strong campaign skills and understanding of how to build power, craft compelling messaging, and move people.
• Experience designing and running issue campaigns—create memes, design graphics, setup Facebook ad campaigns—fully self‑directed.
• Experience working at the sub‑regional or regional level in Asia, navigating language and affinity complexities.
• Coaching and training experience.
• Management and organizational skills to keep multiple projects on track and delegate to team members and contractors.
• Proven ability to work remotely, self‑motivated, and committed to continuous learning.
• Experience running grassroots, national, and/or sub‑regional/regional campaigns in Asia.
• Active activist, not merely a paid employment role.
• Long‑term commitment to SMT, building the work over multiple years.
