Job Summary

DaVita Kidney Care is hiring a Registered Nurse for its DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD) team. The role involves providing independent dialysis care and education to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). The primary schedule is 3 days a week (often with occasional Saturday work) covering 12‑hour shifts with no on‑call duty. Comprehensive training will be provided and the position opens for a minimum of three days per week.

• Deliver independent dialysis care, troubleshooting treatment issues and making sound clinical decisions.
• Coordinate care with SNF staff, ensuring dialysis treatment stays on track.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, equipment usage and self‑care practices.
• Supervise dialysis technicians to meet capacity and efficiency goals.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Operate autonomously while collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in continuous learning through DaVita’s award‑winning training programs.

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a three‑year accredited diploma is acceptable.
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

• Experience in chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, or peritoneal dialysis (PD).
• Background in training, teaching or healthcare education.
• Certification as a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
