The franchisee licenses McDonald’s logos and food products but is a separate company and a separate employer. If hired, the franchisee will be the employer, responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant. Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service and cleanliness.
Shift Managers perform tasks such as planning each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare a great shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and assisting assigned departments to meet their goals.
Qualifications- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule who likes a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
