Westaff is Hiring for a Yard Coordinator in Bloomfield, CT!
Available
Shifts:
Sunday – Tuesday, 6:00AM – 6:00PM or Thursday – Saturday, 6:00AM – 6:00PM
Pay: $20/hour
Westaff is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Yard Support professional to assist a busy logistics yard in Bloomfield, CT. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working outdoors and managing essential yard and trailer operations.
Yard Coordinator Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled yard checks, including recording trailer numbers, locations, and temperatures.
- Enter trailer-related data such as arrival dates, fuel levels, and status updates.
- Verify and document trailer temperatures; promptly report any irregular or nonstandard readings.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to support consistent yard operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- 3+ years of experience in the trucking industry preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or a related field required (3+ years strongly preferred).
