Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Bloomfield, CT.

$1390 Weekly Guarantee – and it gets better.

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.80 per Mile with 1000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $21.63 per Stop with 5 Stops per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday to Sunday Operation (2 consecutive days off)
• Start Time: AM & PM Dispatch Available

• Deliver SOLO To:
  New England Region – CT, NH, VT, RI, ME, MA, PA, NY
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type:
  Day Cab
• Trailer Types:
  Reefer 48' & 58', 28' Pups, 26' Straight Truck
• Equipment:
  Manual pallet jack & lift gate
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed for success
• Freight:
  Touch – Groceries

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A driving experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 years OR 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
