Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth as a lead teacher. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Plan age appropriate lessons and implement developmentally appropriate practices in classroom
- Update Tadpoles Parent Communication App
- Execute planned lessons and follow daily classroom strcuture/schedule
- keep a clean, organized classroom
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead teacher in a child care setting
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA certified)
- Must be able to commit to a 8:00-5:00pm schedule or 8:30am-5:30pm schedule with an hour break
