Lead Teachers at The Learning Experience are not just educators but ambassadors of happiness. Our Lead Teachers set the academic foundation for all future learning, guiding both children and educators, ensuring excellence is a consistent outcome.
Compensation: $17.25 - $20.00 per hour

Role Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming classroom environment.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting to the needs of Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
- Prioritize safety, ensuring a secure environment for children to thrive.
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress using various channels.
- Collaborate with center staff and leadership to support retention, enrollment, and engagement.
- Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Meet state-specific guidelines;
High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred. - At least 18 years old.
- Experience in a childcare setting with leadership roles and a passion for early childhood education.
- Compliance with state and federal guidelines, including immunizations and safety training.
Caregiving Skills:
- Ability to identify and address risks, ensuring children's safety.
- Meet children's daily needs, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Model and promote good social skills and conflict resolution.
- Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and composure.
Physical Resilience:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, climb, and crouch.
- Work outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Maintain alertness and energy to perform essential functions.
