Test Engineer – Medical Device Interfacing

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Test Engineer with experience in HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing, embedded medical device testing, and Microsoft Windows operating systems to join our team. The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of developing functional test suites, and possess strong communication skills.

• Develop functional test suites and test documentation / concepts.
• Identify and document software issues, collaborating with developers to ensure quality.
• Test real‑time distributed client‑server applications on Windows platforms.
• Investigate software defects using troubleshooting skills.
• Support embedded medical device testing and HL7/FHIR interfacing.
• Apply V‑model knowledge and FDA regulatory testing practices.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical experience.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience with embedded medical device testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Understanding of V‑model and component analysis.
• Experience with FDA regulations and testing of software as a medical device.
• Self‑starter, willing to learn new applications and technologies quickly.

• Testing highly critical real‑time large‑scale distributed client‑server applications via automation.
• Testing TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP communication protocols.
• Testing Software as a Medical Device.
• Testing embedded medical device applications on Windows environments.
