Our Client
Our client, a well-established and growing litigation firm, is seeking a Plaintiff-Side Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join their growing team in Bloomfield, NJ. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering a salary range of $90-150k, depending on experience. The position is 100% onsite, so candidates must be commutable to Bloomfield. Who We’re Looking For
Are you an experienced personal injury attorney with a passion for helping clients from day one of their case? In this role, you'll be the first line of legal representation, including investigating claims, developing strategy, and negotiating resolutions before litigation begins. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys direct client contact, and knows how to evaluate and build strong claims that lead to just compensation.
What To Expect as a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney
- Evaluate the merits of incoming personal injury claims and develop legal strategies
- Gather and review medical records, accident reports, and other supporting documents
- Prepare and send persuasive demand letters to insurance carriers and opposing parties
- Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of injured clients
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide case updates and guidance
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff for efficient file management
- Ensure thorough documentation of case progress in the firm’s system
Qualifications For Success
- J.D. from ABA-approved law school
- An active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey is required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal injury law, with a strong focus on pre-litigation work
- Strong working knowledge of New Jersey personal injury law and insurance practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload without compromising attention to detail
- Organized, client-centered, and responsive under pressure
Salary Range: $90,000 - $175,000
