We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and organized Saturday Program Coordinator to join our team and work with our Programs Department administration to plan, coordinate, and manage our Saturday programming and community based programming (for children and adults IDD & Non-IDD) program operating out of our facility in East Rutherford and in the community. A successful Saturday Program and Community Coordinator will plan, coordinate and manage programs , plan all activities, and supervise staff.
Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for communicating with all parents, guardians, staff during and after program hours.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Manages the overall health, safety, welfare, and enjoyment of the participants.
? Develops, in conjunction with the programs administration, program protocols, policies and procedures that promote both service delivery requirements and quality service outcomes.
? Leads program facilitators and transportation team to implement daily activities on site and in the community.
? Develops and oversees all curriculum and community based activities including material use, itinerary and communication on arrangements with families.
? Plans and conducts a weekly shift meeting
? Monitors and ensures completion of program case notes.
? Completed other duties as assigned by department leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Leadership and supervisory skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Experience and/or knowledge working with the IDD population
(ABA experience with children preferred).
? Experience with Microsoft Office.
Schedule:
Mondays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Community ASP in Orange, NJ
Saturday program facilitation and oversight - 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in East Rutherford, NJ
Administrative duties (3 to 4 hours a week flex)
Total hours (15 to 20 hours a week)
Pay:
This is an hourly supervisory role with a minimum of 15 hours per week. Hourly rate: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, payable on a bi-weekly basis, less any required deductions.
