Base pay range$49,920.00/yr - $74,880.00/yr
Position Summary:
Piñon Rose Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate IOP Counselor to join our expanding team in Farmington, NM. This full‑time, in‑person role is part of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults, many of whom are court‑referred. The counselor will be responsible for facilitating structured group therapy sessions, conducting individual counseling and assessments, and supporting clients through evidence‑based interventions rooted in the Matrix Model.
- Facilitate 3-hour group therapy sessions each weekday (Monday–Friday), adhering to the principles and structure of the Matrix Model.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions
, intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress evaluations as needed. - Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medicaid, state, and agency standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support integrated care planning and case coordination.
- Attend and contribute to weekly clinical supervision and staff meetings.
- Uphold all ethical and professional standards of care as defined by licensing boards and agency policies.
- Must hold one of the following New Mexico‑eligible licenses or certifications: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or equivalent.
- Provisional, associate, and supervised licensure types accepted where legally permitted to deliver services.
- Experience or strong interest in working with adult populations with substance use and co‑occurring disorders
, particularly those involved with the justice system. - Knowledge of or willingness to be trained in the Matrix Model for substance use treatment.
- Excellent group facilitation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Prior IOP or SUD program experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with New Mexico Medicaid documentation and standards is a plus.
- Experience with trauma‑informed and culturally responsive practices.
