Pay: $25 - $27 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Operator Journeyman (telehandler  forklift) to join our Loenbro Team in our Bloomfield NM Fabrication shop. As a Telehandler operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment to move, lift, and transport materials within a fabrication shop or construction site environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling and possess a strong attention to detail.

Job Duties:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
• Daily inspection of equipment
• Light maintenance on equipment as needed
• Follow all safety regulations
• Daily reporting
• Complete all duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge and skills
• Outside the majority of the time
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
• Fabrication shop, construction site, and other industrial environments
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility
• Climbing up and down equipment
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks
• Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
• Walking on uneven terrain
• Standing
• Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
• Use of respirator if position requires
• Driving if required to travel
• If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
