1 Doctor practice, 6 member team. It feels like a family here!

Tuesday – 2nd shift – ability to come in at 4 PM.

Wednesday & Thursday – ability to come in at 12 Noon.

Friday office day ends at 2 PM.

Office predominantly sees adult re‑care & new patients.

Periodontal treatment is referred out.

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

• New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance.
• Clinical responsibilities as required by the office.

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
• Tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions; this is a standard requirement and must be completed prior to starting employment (Not applicable in FL & TN).
