Develop external and internal relationships, train customers and sales teams, design projects, and test new and existing products.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with sales, customers, and trade groups to understand product technical aspects and drive improvements
• Understand data center architecture and cabling topologies with design‑level expertise
• Respond to customer needs, challenges, and issues with possible resolution
• Collaborate with BU personnel on schedule, quality, and customer challenges
• Drive product feature improvements and facilitate new product development
• Conduct validation testing of new and existing products and report results
• Develop instruction sheets, application notes, and technical bulletins
• Create communication materials and deliver training to internal sales and external customers
• Provide layout recommendations based on customer facility drawings
• Review requirements and identify solutions
• Maintain accuracy of technical content in marketing literature
• Contribute to Product Development Initiatives (PDI) and Product Profit Loss (PPL)
• Test fiber solutions per specific needs and requirements
• Provide demonstrations to customer base on copper and fiber product lines

• Typical Expectations: BICSI RCDD certification preferred, Data Center certification, Copper and fiber background, industry standards knowledge, Visio and Autocad required

  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field), minimum 8 years technical support/applications/sales/engineering experience
