Maintenance Technician

DuPage Machine Products is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the machinery industry. As a key player in our operations, the Maintenance Technician will perform essential maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that our machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and implement solutions to enhance machinery reliability.

Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and operational excellence.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment issues before they expand.
• Document maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or machinery environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
