Everton Baptist Church – Part‑time Pastor
Everton Baptist Church (SBC), located in the Ozarks of north central Arkansas, is seeking a man who is totally sold out to God and who is able to think outside the church walls to serve as a part‑time pastor to our small congregation (fewer than 50 people).
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church – Full‑time Pastor (Bi‑vocational option)Pleasant Hill Baptist Church was officially constituted a church in 1838. We are prayerfully seeking God’s direction to find the next pastor to lead our church family as we continue growing in faith, fellowship, and committed to Christ‑centered preaching that applies God’s Word to daily life. Our guide and head of the church is Jesus Christ. We are seeking full time pastor but open to bi‑vocational pastor after interview.
We are located at 82 CR 341 Calhoun City, MS 38916. Calhoun County.
We have a multi‑generational congregation. We average 50‑80 members in attendance on Sunday morning service. Potential is higher. We offer Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night services to include Sunday School and Discipleship training for all ages. We offer a church parsonage, 1844 square feet, 3 bedrooms, double carport and 900 square foot shop building.
Salary and benefits package dependent upon experience and education. Salary, parsonage with paid expenses, retirement, insurance, housing allowance and travel reimbursement.
Qualifications- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to pastoral ministry.
- Ordination and Licensed as a Baptist minister.
- Preferred but not required, a Seminary education or a degree from a Bible college or university.
Holy Family Parish and American Martyrs Parish are seeking a Pastoral Assistant to assist the Pastor in the daily administration, coordination, and pastoral operations of both parishes. This position is essential to ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning, clear communication, and effective pastoral support across both parish communities. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, proactive, and mission‑oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a warm, welcoming pastoral presence.
PrimaryResponsibilities – Pastoral & Administrative Support
- Serve as the primary administrative support to the Pastor.
- Help manage the Pastor's daily workflow, priorities, and desk.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, meetings, and parish commitments.
- Screen phone calls, emails, and correspondence, responding appropriately or routing as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound pastoral judgment.
- Assist with day‑to‑day parish operations for both parishes.
- Coordinate calendars between Holy Family and American Martyrs to avoid conflicts.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, letters, and reports as needed.
- Support parish staff, clergy, and volunteers with administrative coordination.
- Draft and format emails, letters, bulletins, announcements, and internal communications.
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems.
- Track deadlines, follow‑ups, and ongoing parish initiatives.
- Assist with parish communications across platforms (email, bulletin, website, social media coordination as needed).
- Attend meetings & take meeting notes and follow up on action items.
- Assist in planning and coordinating parish events, liturgies, and special initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, diocesan offices, and external partners as needed.
- Practicing Catholic with a respect for the mission and life of the Church.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and calm.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency with office technology (email, Word, Google Docs, calendars, basic spreadsheets).
- Experience in parish ministry, nonprofit administration, or office management preferred.
- Warm, welcoming, and pastoral in demeanor.
- Self‑directed and reliable.
- Detail‑oriented and proactive.
- Comfortable working in a faith‑based environment.
- Able to adapt to the evolving needs of a parish partnership model.
- Full‑time (hours to be determined).
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required based on parish needs.
