Retail Scan Associate; Bloomingdale, IL

Overview

Retail Scan Associate (Bloomingdale, IL 60108) s is a permanent PART-TIME role. Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays, in aisles, and at aisle end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in various store locations.
• Be responsible for completing weekly displays scanning and, when applicable, additional work such as Custom Projects which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and ensure data quality for client reporting.
• Provide the quantity for about 45% of scanned products as required during data collection.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and work independently with attention to detail.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter and have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Competitive compensation: $15/hr.

• Paid travel at hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).

• Pet Store, Bloomingdale, IL – Monday-Friday
• Grocery Store, Glendale Heights, IL – Wednesday or Thursday
• Grocery Store, Addison, IL – Wednesday or Thursday

The anticipated Final date to receive applications is 9/25/2025. This role involves continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.
