Join A.P. Moller - Maersk as an Assistant Manager for its Last Mile facility in Bloomington, IL. This role supports the integrated logistics network that moves 20% of global trade.

• Develop and maintain relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
• Ensure follow‑up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in‑home damage claims.
• Dispatch trucks using GPS technology.
• Oversee in‑home delivery for customers.
• Maintain monthly operating reports, including statistics and customer‑service scores.
• Oversee Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
• Supervise hourly on‑site staff handling data entry, customer service, order processing, and delivery.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Provide training, plan, assign, reward and direct employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.

• Supervisor experience, including performance reviews of direct reports.

This clerical‑administrative position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, use of hands, stooping, bending, and reaching. Extensive use of a phone and PC is required.

$60,000 - $65,000. The above is the anticipated starting salary range for the position; final starting salary will be negotiated in accordance with applicable laws.
