Family Visitation Center - Visit Monitor (Saturday-Sunday) 3pm-11pm

The Family Visitation Center (FVC) offers a safe, child‑friendly site for supervised visitation and exchanges for families experiencing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. As a Visit Monitor, you will supervise visits and exchanges between parents with restricted parenting time and their children. This is a full‑time position, and many of these visits will occur during the evening and weekend hours.
Schedule(Saturday‑Sunday) 3 pm‑11 pm
Candidate Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Completed the 40‑hour domestic violence training, or are able to complete this agency‑paid training within 6 months of hire.
- Experience working with children and families affected by domestic violence preferred.
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ensure a safe environment by checking the visit room for safety, correcting any issues, and ensuring that toys available are age‑appropriate for child(ren) using the room.
- Supervise visits between children and parents/family members, including introducing children and family members to the visit room, monitoring the visit for safety and appropriate interactions, and guiding parents in behavior management, if needed.
- Provide a safe and smooth transition from one parent to the other at the Family Visit Center for families who require an intermediary in the exchange.
- Complete intake paperwork with clients and enter information accurately into the program database; complete ongoing documentation as required by program.
- Complete assessments and refer clients to additional services and resources.
- Provide court testimony as a member of the program team.
- Compensation: $16.60–$18.47 per hour (range may vary based on experience and qualifications).

(Saturday‑Sunday) 3 pm‑11 pm. - Leadership development opportunities and one‑on‑one mentorship are available through Emerging Leaders program.
