We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to be the face of our agency! This person plays a key role in shaping first impressions and delivering exceptional experiences to every customer who contacts us. The ideal candidate will be skilled at problem-solving, able to handle a high volume of daily interactions, and comfortable identifying opportunities to educate customers about our products and services.
Astrong candidate will bring the following qualifications and traits
- Must be able to obtain or have an active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required prior to start)
- Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage 50+ customer interactions daily across phone, email, text, and walk‑ins
- High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
- Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional in challenging customer situations
- Self‑motivated with a team‑oriented, high‑performance mindset
- Own the front desk experience and serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, text, and in‑person visits
- Quickly identify customer needs and proactively resolve questions, concerns, or problems
- Handle upset or concerned customers with empathy and professionalism, clearly communicating the “why behind the what”
- Manage and follow up on all underwriting memos to ensure timely policy processing
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records within agency systems
- Proactively identify opportunities to educate customers on additional products (pivots/cross‑sell opportunities)
- Support customer retention and satisfaction efforts at every customer touchpoint
- Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional front office environment
