Job Summary

In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the English Department maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track teaching positions. Salary Rate / Pay Rate

For a non‑terminal degree, starting at $4900 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications and prorated to the amount of time contracted (FTE). For a terminal degree, starting at $5200 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications
  • Masters or doctoral degree in English
  • Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level
  • State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
