High School Guidance Counselor/SEL Coordinator

- Provide support to students who need social or emotional support throughout the day
- Help coordinate with outside agencies should the need arise regarding student needs
- Lead the SEL team within the building in regards to proactive initiatives or support needs as they arise
- Coordinate with the building principal on the administration of various school or grade level testing
- Provide feedback for 504 and/or IEP meetings
- Administer school wide SEL screener and review data with the building principal
- Other duties as assigned by the building principal
Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate certifications.
Salary/BenefitsCompensation based on education and experience, as negotiated by the collective bargaining agreement.
Additional NotesHenry-Senachwine High School serves approximately 150 students and sustains a professional staff of 23. The culture of the school promotes collegiality, collaboration and progressive thought. The selected candidate will enjoy a fiscally responsible district, a dedicated and innovative staff and a student population who contribute to a productive school culture. HSHS will be starting the school year in a new addition with a new office area for the selected candidate.
