What You'll Do:- Complete and review federal tax returns for assigned entities, including book‑tax difference analysis, technical research, and documentation of tax positions.
- Prepare and review state and local returns, including allocation/apportionment, income tax, franchise tax, and other direct taxes.
- Prepare and review quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.
- Support tax provisions, forecasts, budgets, and prepare documentation for footnotes, management reports, and audits.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of assigned tax accounts each quarter.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes using technology and data management tools; identify opportunities for efficiency and collaborate with finance and tax teams.
- Assist with federal, state, and local audits—gathering information, responding to notices, and addressing queries.
- Research and document material tax positions; advise on US tax issues and legislation impacting the company.
- Promote and implement federal and state tax planning strategies to achieve departmental goals.
- Mentor tax accountants to support career growth and development.
- Work with external consultants on research projects and compliance matters.
- Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures, including Code of Business Conduct and Safety, Health & Environment policies.
- Take initiative to lead projects, meet deadlines, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting from a recognized institution.
- 8+ years of corporate income tax experience in a global organization or a large tax consulting firm supporting multinational clients.
- Strong understanding of US tax compliance and accounting for income taxes.
- CPA designation or US Master of Tax designation (preferred).
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle, People Soft, One Source Income Tax, Longview, Alteryx, Power Query, and Power BI (considered an asset).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.

- Strong ability to provide recommendations and advise decision-makers on tax matters.

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $95,700 – $164,100 and in Illinois, is between $91,200 – $156,300. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
