Commercial Insurance Specialist

Wage Range:
Min: $21.77, Mid: $26.45, Max: $31.13

Commercial Insurance Specialists are responsible for the Bank's commercial loan insurance tracking portfolio. This position follows established lending policies and procedures. Commercial Insurance Specialists are multi-functional, customer-oriented individuals who rely on instructions and pre-established procedures to perform the functions of this job. Commercial Insurance Specialists report to the department supervisor.

• Review business asset insurance policies that cover the bank's UCC filings.
• Manage the force placed insurance process on commercial loans that have cancelled, expired, or no insurance.
• Track and obtain insurance coverage on all builder's risk insurance policies on construction loans.
• Prompt Insurance agent follow-up to obtain proof of insurance on all Commercial insurance policies.
• Track and obtain proof of insurance on all vehicle loans.
• Adhere to Bank policies and procedures as well as industry regulations.
• Assist with Loan Officer and Loan Assistant requests related to commercial loans.
• Perform other duties as necessary to assist the Escrow/Insurance Supervisor.

• Associate’s Degree and minimum 5 years commercial insurance preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range minimum, midpoint, and maximum listed above represent a full range of career compensation growth over time in this position and pay grade.
