Clinical Psychologist

Overview

Carle Health is seeking a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our expanding Behavioral Health team at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

• Individual counseling position at outpatient practice with adult and child patient base
• Provide psychological testing to both adults and children
• Join a large, multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team with Adult and Child Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, Social Workers, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychometricians
• Have access to system support from Carle's Behavioral Health Department and work with health care practitioners and teams throughout Carle, including primary care, many medical specialties and hospital services
• Join an experienced PMHNP and dedicated support staff
• Must be willing to live in and be an active part of the community
• Olney is one hour from Evansville, Indiana and is less than three hours from Indianapolis and St. Louis. The community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities that include fishing lakes, community parks, an aquatic center and an 18-hole golf course. Quality education, friendly neighborhoods, and affordable housing provide an ideal setting for personal and professional satisfaction for the single person or family
• Interested candidates may have the opportunity to teach students and trainees across the entire spectrum of Carle's Behavioral Health Department

• Doctorate from an APA-approved Clinical or Counseling Psychology program and Internship required
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience post doctorates and IL Clinical Psychologist license are strongly preferred. Applicants who have completed a post-doctoral training program will be considered, if they are license-eligible at the time application is made
• Candidates that possess a clinical interest in assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorders are strongly preferred

The compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
