Overview
Help individuals and families in your role as a counselor s full‑time position is based in Bloomington, IL. Primarily weekdays/daytime hours.
ResponsibilitiesProvide therapy indicated in treatment/recovery/safety plan. Includes individual, family and group counseling. Facilitate skills and educational groups. Develop master treatment plans and continuing care plans. Maintain contact with clients’ collaterals (e.g. probation, family members, psychiatrist). Testify in court when requested. Demonstrate project management capability or leadership potential.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma‑informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness.
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience. Basic computer experience including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;
Adobe Acrobat; and an electronic medical record. Must have valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.

Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job‑related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
