Mainframe Print Engineer - Linux

Overview

The Mainframe Print Engineer aligned to Output Management Support is a member of a team responsible for configuring & supporting Ricoh Process Director (RPD) Output Management software running on virtual Linux servers. This includes maintaining servers as Server Type Owner (STO), install and update RPD, and evaluating and maintaining high speed print hardware. This team is also responsible for setting up Monitoring/Alerting for this equipment, as well as documentation & training.

This position requires configuration changes using Service Now to take place during approved change windows. Occasional off-shift work may be required. 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis is required.

• Ricoh Process Director (RPD)
• General use and navigation of GUI
• General knowledge of data flow: mainframe/ebcs=>

• 3rd level support for print operators
• Linux OS Support
• Install and update RPD

• The Ideal Candidate has:
• Experience with Linux server support
• Ability to manage a large, complex print environment
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation techniques
• Familiarity with Print software running on the mainframe lparsa plus
• Working knowledge of Service Now and ITIL principles
