Client is seeking an IT professional to perform automated scans of open sourcing software at one of our key clients. Preferred candidates will have previous software development experience in Java as well as Maven. The individual chosen to fill this role will use scanning tools to review source code for software licensing requirements and the person will need to review and identify code with licensing requirements and document them.

For this role, the individual will be expected to build a License Bill of Materials in line with industry best practices and client specific requirements.

• Experience with Fossology, OLEX Deep Dive Discovery, Sonatype tools
• Process open source software scanning requests
• Utilize license scanning tools to scan source code
• Reviews code to identify licensing
• Builds License Bill of Materials of reviewed source code
• Answers general questions regarding the open source scanning process
• Can perform variety of other activities (within Java/J2EE code sets) as needed
• Self-motivated
• Solid teamwork
• Development experience with Maven desirable
• Development experience with Java/J2EE is desirable
