JD Edwards Technology Support Engineer

Our client, a leading professional services and consulting organization supporting the Health and Public Sector industry, is seeking a JD Edwards Technology Support Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining operational stability across multiple business system components. • Resolving complex incidents and technical problems across multiple business system components
• Taking ownership of complex technical issues and driving them through resolution while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
• Creating and implementing Requests for Change to support system stability and continuous improvement
• Analyzing issues across multiple teams and providing effective technical solutions
• Collaborating with vendors and service management teams to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and operational processes
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business needs and objectives
• Guiding colleagues by sharing technical expertise, troubleshooting knowledge, and best practices
• Developing and refining operational procedures to improve service quality and efficiency
• Updating knowledge base articles to strengthen troubleshooting capabilities and support consistent issue resolution
• Contributing to key technical decisions and providing subject matter expertise across the organization

• Advanced proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Technology
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across integrated business systems
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex technical issues and drive them through resolution
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple technical and business teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to stakeholders
• Knowledge of service management processes, incident resolution, and Requests for Change
• Ability to operate as a subject matter expert while providing guidance and support to team members
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues and determine effective solutions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

• Familiarity with Health or Public Sector environments
• Exposure to vendor management and third-party technology support
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and operational process optimization
• Strength in technical documentation and knowledge base development
• Familiarity with cross-functional service management environments
• Leadership or mentoring capabilities within a technical team

• Fully remote 12-month contract with a good likelihood of extension
• 40 hours per week with a consistent full-time schedule
• $45 to $50/hr (DOE)
• Serve as a JD Edwards technology subject matter expert within a complex enterprise environment
• Take ownership of challenging technical issues that span multiple teams and business systems
• Influence technical decisions and contribute to meaningful operational improvements
• Collaborate with experienced technology, service management, and vendor teams
• Put deep JD Edwards Enterprise One expertise to work in a role with significant technical ownership
