About the role COUNTRY Financial is seeking a hands-on Senior Guidewire Data Developer who combines deep technical expertise with architecture leadership. The ideal candidate has extensive experience integrating Guidewire Policy Center, Claim Center, and Contact Manager into enterprise data platforms, modernizing legacy insurance data environments to cloud-native architectures, and delivering measurable business outcomes through scalable, high-performing data solutions. Designs, develops, implements, and maintains overall database/data warehouse to integrate data from various sources/systems throughout the organization.

Establishes database management systems, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design, logic, capacity planning, interface specifications, maintenance and security. Develops strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong insurance domain knowledge, expertise across Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, and the ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives while partnering across business, analytics, and technology teams. The candidate will also have a deep expertise in Operational Data Stores (ODS), Data Lakes, Guidewire Data Hub, insurance data modeling, and large-scale data integration patterns. The candidate will partner with business, analytics, architecture, and Guidewire application teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions supporting reporting, operational analytics, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics initiatives.

How does this role make an impact?
- Develops data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable and secure and can be used for dashboard development, machine learning models and exploratory data analysis.
- Designs and builds data models in Entity Relationships Diagram (ERD).
- Prepares and manuipulates data. Manages data migrations/conversions and troubleshoots data processing issues.
- Iteratively delivers functionality using Dev Ops tools and concepts.
- Collaborates with other areas to develop standards and best practices for research, analysis, data engineering and machine learning.

Do you have what we're looking for? Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise data architecture supporting Guidewire Insurance Suite integrations across Policy Center, Claim Center, Contact Manager, Data Hub, ODS, Data Lakes, and Enterprise Data Warehouses.

Lead cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy insurance data platforms to Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.

Establish scalable data integration patterns and governance standards that improve performance, reduce operational costs, and support enterprise reporting, analytics, and regulatory compliance.

Partner with business, analytics, architecture, and delivery teams to define and execute strategic data roadmaps supporting Commercial & Agribusiness Insurance objectives.

Provide technical leadership for geographically distributed teams and drive successful delivery of complex enterprise data programs from requirements through production deployment.

Build and support Operational Data Store (ODS) solutions that provide consolidated, near real-time business data.

Design and maintain Data Lake architecture supporting structured and semi-structured insurance data.

Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud-based technologies.

Design and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, operational support, and regulatory requirements.

Integrate Guidewire transactional data into enterprise data platforms.

Collaborate with architects to define enterprise data strategies and standards.

Implement data quality controls, validation processes, and reconciliation frameworks.

Support reporting and analytics teams through reliable, governed data assets.

Perform root-cause analysis for data issues and implement corrective actions.

Optimize data pipelines and database performance.

Support Guidewire Cloud, Data Hub, and enterprise data modernization initiatives.
