duties may include:

• assists in all areas of the handling of grain and grain products, which may include but not be limited to truck and rail operations such as loading and unloading crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
• operation of conveyance equipment that is utilized in the placement and transferring of grain and grain products.
• responsible for handling grain (incoming and outbound), ensuring grain quality, and maintaining equipment.
• uses proper aeration techniques to maintain grain quality and minimize shrinkage.
• assures proper segregation of all inbound grain, performs and monitors effective blending of all outbound grain and removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified areas, such as loading docks.
• maintain cleanliness and order of handling areas and facility.
• monitors equipment and either reports or corrects equipment failures.
• attends safety training and safety meetings.
• reports unsafe conditions or unsafe behavior immediately.
• other related ag equipment operator activities as per soc/oes 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
• possible weekend/holiday work.
