• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Thursday; be able to work at least 3 shifts in a month

  In-person at Bloomington Eye Institute

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred
• Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Operating Room (OR), Critical Care, or Recovery Room is preferred but not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work in a stressful environment while remaining friendly and welcoming to patients and co-workers
• BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred but not required

• Conduct patient interviews, perform pre-testing, and manage admissions and discharges with proper documentation
• Circulate in the procedure room and administer IV conscious sedation as needed
• Transcribe and implement physicians’ orders accurately
• Perform IV punctures, dispense medications, and carry out venipunctures
• Monitor and recognize patient rhythms
• Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Communicate effectively regarding patient care and personnel matters

The starting range for this position is $33.00 - $38.31/hr, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
