We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and a passion for providing high-quality veterinary services. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper care and wellness. The Veterinarian will work closely with a team of veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions in pets.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
• Provide emergency veterinary care when necessary, including critical care for injured or ill animals.
• Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary terminology.
• Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois veterinary license.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices.
• Experience with animal handling is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

We are a full service veterinary clinic equipped with state of the art diagnostic lab machines, ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, ozone therapy, and a well equipped surgical room.

The focus of high quality medicine and creating a bond with clients and the community is of utmost importance. We are located in central Illinois 2 hours south of Chicago and 50 minutes west of Champaign-Urbana.
