Retail Sales Associate BLOOMINGTON | N Veterans Pkwy All in Avg. $30 – Arch Telecom

Arch Telecom’s Mobile Associates (MAs) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and focus on customer needs.
This role is a learning position with expected progression to Mobile Expert after training completion.
Location:
Bloomington, IL area at N Veterans Pkwy. Compensation: avg. $30 (with eligible performance-based incentives).
Learn and build proficiency in customer service while delivering a best-in-class experience and building loyalty by:
- Helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey (online, Customer Care, or in-store)
- Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store
- Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond devices and standard plans, including accessories and IoT devices
- Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and expert recommendations
Approaching service and sales with patience, honesty, and empathy.
Become proficient in digital tools to enhance interactions and onboarding, and demonstrate:
- How our coverage stacks up in the customer neighborhood for a fast LTE network
- Why plans and services enable customers to live unlimited, stay connected, and go further
- How wireless is redefined with device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting
Complete training on in-store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources. Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels to:
- Own the customer experience and resolve issues for a seamless, run-around-free environment
- Identify and hand off small business leads
- Develop strong peer relationships and accountability for the company’s success
- Provide first-class customer experience with a positive attitude
- A desire to learn and master the skills of a customer advocate and build meaningful connections
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
- Willingness to work with peers and store leaders, sharing best practices while serving customers
- Ability to balance customer experience with performance goals
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience (retail environment preferred)
